Are there a lot of companies that block javascript?

We should probably take the focus off JavaScript. Cylance Protect is
blocking Windows Powershell from running any script (i.e. VB Script, etc)
because Powershell is NOT a sandboxed environment. Powershell allows
changes to the file system, which can be used maliciously by
ransom-ware, etc. It's similar to blocking macros in Microsoft Office,
which is similarly dangerous and potentially exploited.

Contrast that with running JavaScript in a browser, which IS a
sanboxed environment, and is generally accepted.

I'm wondering if
there's enough interest to ask IBM to provide an installation path that is
"more accepted" by companies.

I think it would have been more accepted if IBM had created an install .exe
for ACS. Windows is a magnet for malware due to the many interfaces
provided within the OS and widely-used applications that are exploitable.
Do you blame Microsoft for having such an exploitable system? Microsoft
provides these interfaces and encourages their use. What do people expect?
