Well my challenge is that I am using IBM DB2i Tools from RPGLE using SQL
Functions. So I have no control over java code. I mostly execute DB2i SQL
functions for HTTP requests. Thats why I am trying to keep it within RPG
thread.

Wrapping java in SQL procedures or functions is not a good idea at all. I

layer would not circumvent the creation of multiple JVMs and it would
Bucknum
faster because SQL procedures and functions are serialized by definition.
