That's odd. Our own Java/Swing-based 5250 emulator has no trouble with most of a "real 5250" keymap working just fine on a Mac, including Enter where it belongs (both right-control and keypad-enter), reset where it belongs (left control). The only exception is the insert key (the Mac BIOS has no concept of an overtype mode, and hard-maps that into local "Help"), which I map into Mac-F13, and SysRq, which I map into Option-S.

And I take serious exception to the idea that a PC keyboard layout is inherently superior to a 102-key 5250 layout, particularly where terminal emulation is concerned. Terminal-based Midrange applications are designed around Field Exit and Enter being where they are on a real terminal keyboard.
