Cleanup is configured to delete JRNRCVs older then 30 days
I suspect that "Delete receivers . . : *NO" JRN attribute prevents
Cleanup from deleting the
corrosponding JRNRCVs.

Shall I change the Delete receivers attributes to *YES ?

See following help panel (7.4) and notice the absence of QAUD*

Help panel for CHGCLNUP-SYSLOG parameter states:

Journal receivers that are cleaned up: Journal receivers that are used for
one of the following system journals and are older than the number of days
specified on this parameter are deleted.
QAOSDIAJRN Journal for DIA files
QDSNX Journal for DSNX logs
QSNADS Journal for SNADS files
QSXJRN Journal for problem databases
QPFRADJ Journal for performance adjustment data
QACGJRN Journal for job accounting data

QCQJMJRN Journal for Managed System Services

Hello everyone

I need some advice with the following:

there are not a few JRNRCVs in QUSRSYS that are several months old (and
some are even older)
like QAOSDI3409, QASOSC3395, QAUD000079, QDSNX2351 , QDSNX3400 etc.

If I'm not mistaken, the respective JRNs are all configured
Manage receivers . . : *SYSTEM
Delete receivers . . : *NO

is it the default configuration or is it me?
what is the best practice configuration?

TIA

Gad
