Subject: Excel 2016 interface - COMS add-in for V7R1

Hello all...

Running into an issue with doing data transfers from iSeries DB2 to Excel.
Previously on V5 we had Excel add-ins that allowed us to do the linkages.

One of our personnel has recently needed to use a spreadsheet that had this
functionality but haven't used it since we completed our upgrade to V7R1.
Now of course the add-in doesn't work.

I've reviewed the IBM docs and they indicate there is a new add-in, a COMS
one...but every time we try to tie it we keep getting told "this is not a
valid Excel Add-in".

Checked with our Sys Admin and he indicates that Client Access is at V7.
Checked my Navigator and it verifies.

So....what would I be doing wrong?

Have a good day.
