They won't' quote a price without registering so about how much do they want
per partition?

The last thing I need is another batch of emails from 1000 vendors after
registering at a site.

We use PKZIP product to zip and optionally encrypt a PF or a stream file,
then we use SSH to securely send the file to a remote site.
We also receive files from the remote site via SSH, then decrypt and unzip.

Subject: Encryption Help

Hello,

I need to encrypt a physical or stream file on an Iseries at record and file
level.

The file will then be passed securely to a non-ibm site for decryption.

The Iseries (or what ever the new model name is) has OS V7.

Sorry I have no real knowledge of how encryption really works, storage of
keys etc.

I assume this is beyond taking an example program from someone like Scott
Klement.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
