From IBM support.

The way things are working with RDP was a change put in April 10, 2017 RFE 22720.
So is is not a recent change, your just noticing now because everyone is working from home.
Also this is working as designed as of today.
I propose you open a new RFE asking for an enhancement to honor the true computer name of the destination server.
This is a template of how I would suggest you word it, feel free to make changes:
RFE 22720 updated the &COMPN to use CLIENTNAME in RDP sessions.
This causes issues when there are subsystem name entries for existing computer name prefixes.
We are asking for a option to allow use of the true computer name within RDP sessions in single user environments.

I experienced the same thing here. Irritating enough that I switched to &USERN*= instead.

We have ACS configured to use &COMPN*= for workstation id.
All working fine.

However, when accessing the work PC via remote desktop from home PC,
and then launching ACS, ACS is using the home PC name as opposed to
the work PC name.
The home PC name does not match any of the subsystem name entries,
results in a black screen.

Opened a ticket with IBM ACS support, they could not explain why this
is occurring.

Anyone in the group experiencing this issue and/or know why ACS is
pulling the home PC name when used via remote desktop.

Thank You
