Sure.

Use different folders for each Deployment. (remember ACS is not installed, it’s deployed) (Rob: for archive, I know you know this)

I do that for each customer, and version of ACS. So far Java versions have not been problematic since the minimum is java 8 for more recent versions.

Is it possible you have multiple installations of iACS on your PC and the one uses different settings than the others?
Having multiple installations is commonly done, often accidentally since there is no "install" process.

When you are in either Run SQL Scripts do a Help, About. Record the version number and under that there should be a line like
C:\Users\Public\IBM\ClientSolutions\acsbundle.jar
Do they differ?

Then go into Connection, JDBC Configuration, System. What do you have for Default SQL schema and Library list? For both instances of Run SQL Scripts?
Then go to the Format tab. Is your Naming convention *SYS or *SQL?

While you're in there you might want to check out the Translation tab. Most people checkmark the "Translate CCSID 65535".

Subject: ACS Run Sql Scripts

CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.

If I start Run SQL Scripts from a 5250 session (Actions menu) or from the ACS application, it observes my library list.

If I start it from file associate in Windows (i.e. double-click on a "myscript.sql"), it does not observe my library list (after connecting).

I use job descriptions to set all users' library lists (including my own). Is there a way around this?
