Hello,
when I do a STRSQL, I get a greeting message that a connection is established to the relational database <local-name-here>.
How can I change this name? I'm not talking about the default connection but about truly changing the name. On a LPAR (7.2) of mine, the database has not adopted the name change in CHGNETA at install time, so I'm getting the system/LPAR serial number as greeting each time.
Second, does this rename have some side effects for just local processing of SQL (within RPG) or remote connections via ODBC? There's definitely no reference to the database name in these places.
