Yes. Same here, RPG READs/WRITE into PRTF, no special preparations, line 1 of the first page isn't line 1 but somewhat below. SCS with host transform/generic HP printer to PCL, into LPD queue, converted to PDF with Linux.

Maybe this is a special first-page-handling? Since mechanical printers in the days of yore usually weren't able to print to the first few lines, because the paper needs to be pulled back quite a bit. While printing the next lines, the dangling paper output might jam at a later transport stage, depending on printer construction. Later pages of the fan-fold paper are no issue.
