is this a case where the IBM i is not as flexible as Linux? On Linux you
run "sudo ufw" to config the firewall. But on the ibm i there is no
firewall. You have to have access to the network firewall?

Hmm, I forget, does failing password guesses in ssh disable the profile?
Not sure.

But this is becoming an absurd digression. If your IBM i is open to the
public internet without a firewall and a well-thought-out security setup,
you're going to burn in Heck, sooner or later.
