I could not find a way to display or change the special environment using the graphical interface available in IBM Navigator for i, Users and Groups. Apparently it is believed that anyone still using S/36 environment has no familiarity with GUI. Either that or whatever they can do to discourage S/36 environment can and will be done.
You're free to submit a RFE if you so desire.
