Cleaning up old/unused objects.
Using the combination of RTVDSKINF and 2. Print disk space information from Disk Space task menu.
Ran into a situation that if a library is listed in an HTTP configuration (not known)
SetEnv QIBM_CGI_LIBRARY_LIST RDB40.
No objects in the library are used.
Deleted the library, HTTP instance crashed.
Reported this to IBM support as object usage not being updated correctly.
WAD.
Per the below link, several object types DO NOT have their object usage updated, one of which is libraries.
Detecting unused objects on the system
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/ssw_ibm_i_73/rbam6/detob.htm
So with that said, is there a better way to determine object usage since Date Last Used is not updated 100% of the time?
