Well - the last 30 years showed one little issue:

- you can agree in a contract with a provider about almost everything you want
- you will find out about the reality if your need comes into a request

btw - latest and greatest OS at day 1 of GA is... well... interesting. Most customers here wait some months,
then start with the Test / Dev environments and the Prod will be updated about 6 months after GA.

But as said - if the customer wants to, the provider should have to do.

I think that's a fair and complete answer. What your desires are something you have to consider when choosing a provider. Me, I'd want to have the latest and greatest OS on day 1 of GA. So a provider who could not meet such a requirement would be low on the list.

No, we are not in the market for cloud in case anyone is wondering.
