we use quadstor VTL which is OpenSource/Freeware but with available support contract.
Running 3 VTL for about 20 LPARs and about 200TB capacity, using BRMS.

Power9 with 2 LPARS
40 TB.
V7R3
TS3100 with 4 LTO7 drives.
BRMS with autodupe.
Dups go off site on a daily basis.

Looking for a 2nd device for the offsite dups to eliminate all/any daily tape handling.
I have quotes on various VTL, for both offsite and replacing the current TS3100 with 4 LTO7 drives.
