My manager and I were trying to install the Windows AP (Application
Package) on his newer laptop. He already had an installation of ACS itself.
I had given him ZIP files of ACS itself and of the AP, downloaded from
ESS. He ran the ACS install and got a 2nd instance of ACS that behaved
rather strangely - left-hand menu items very small and scrunched
together - not sure if that is also the cause for the next problem.
Going on...
I had him delete the unzipped ACS directory - not really an install, so
may have other "junk" on his machine.
Now to the issue - we tried to run the CWBINSTALL of the AP - in the
course of it, it was looking for a file named amri2956.something which
is Turkish - we have only amri2924 since we got the 2924 version.
So what to do? He has been using different language settings in ACS (I
think) emulator, but the ones we looked at were 37'S.
Hope this makes a little sense!
