Question 1: Does the machine have mirrored protection?

Question 2: Do you have a full save of the system?

If the answer to BOTH of the above is no, then start looking for your favorite lucky charms.

Question 3: Does the disk make a sad crying noise as the system is starting up?

Question 4: Have you re-seated the cables to the drives?

Question 5: Does the drive spin up? You may need to hold a metal bar against it as well as against your ear to see if you can hear anything.

The message is telling you that the load source disk is there and working but the other disk (DD002) is not reporting in at this time. Without it, the system cannot start OS/400.

I have an AS/400 150 9401 that the UPS died today.
After booting it up I'm getting a (confusing to me)
message saying:

The following disk units are missing from the disk

ASP 1 Unit 2 Type 6607 Resource Name DD002 Status

With a status configured and it says it's missing from the
configuration, I don't know what I an do to get it working

I have ordered a new UPS. My main concern right now is
to get it running.

Does anyone know what I can do?
