We are being told by IBM that RPGLE is problematic when attempting to create a *PGM object that is threadsafe.  Unfortunately, we are not getting a good explanation and we are being told that we have to re-code our solution in C.  For some reason, this doesn't sound kosher to us.

For a *PGM to be threadsafe, are there certain things that need to be avoided?
