I disagree. Most users do not call their PC's their DOS box, even though the same commands work on it.
Many call it their Windows 7 or Windows 10 box
Even our operator (down to part time and retiring in a few months) who I can still remember was reluctant to give up her 3180, brought in her personal computer to get it upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 to match her work computer.
