We were talking about alternatives to RDi and I mentioned MiWorkplace.

The question arose, is admin auth needed to install on Windows?

The author replies:

*afaik you don't need admin authority. Just unzip the archive and you are
ready to go. The application will create a workspace folder (as all Eclipse
based applications). It will be created in the application folder. You can
change the location with the -data parameter as described in the user
guide, see https://miworkplace.com/docs/Installation
<https://miworkplace.com/docs/Installation> . If you have any further
questions just ask.*

I have asked, and it's just not a priority.

Could you ask the customer to install RDI for you, even if it's your
