Does UIM have anything inherently built into it to process command lines? Or is it basically just another screen designer like SDA or hand doing DDS for screens?
I keep thinking that it is just a prompt field on a UIM screen. Then your program has to decide if the user has entered a menu option, a command, etc. If so, then that same program would have to interpret whether or not you pressed what function key and the action to perform.
If true, then there's a big difference to adding F8 capability to menus and QCMD versus adding it to each application which has a big input field which may be used to enter a command.
