thanks alan but ultimately that is looking at the object and our object
create/change/last used dates get out of whack and are unreliable due to
operational processes (backup/restores/etc).
So ultimately need to take this to the member level but want to avoid
scanning source members if I can help it.

I'm simply needing any file that had "source code" changes since 2006.

Anyone know where to get that date that PDM shows for each member?

DSPOBJD, filling in object name, library and object type being *file
Take option 5 in the next screen
That will show the creation date on the first screen and the second screen
will show
Change date/time
Last used date


But it's the creation date that I think you are looking for

I've tried to do a dspfd type(*mbrlist) but the last changed date does not
correspond to what I find in pdm when i press f14.

I need to know the last time the file/member (source) changed.
