It's a bit of a sledge-hammer approach, but if you have your system reply
list set up as you want, you can add this as the first line of your
script:

CALL QSYS2.QCMDEXC('CHGJOB INQMSGRPY(*SYSRPYL)');

or

CL: CHGJOB INQMSGRPY(*SYSRPYL);

Hope that helps,
Tim Clark

Subject: [EXTERNAL] iACS interactive SQL and interactive messages
Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L" <midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Is there a way to answer an interactive message in iACS SQL client?
Or a way to monitor or have a default reply?

SQL statement:
alter table ibintgfl drop column tgitem#3;

I get a message in iACS:
Message: [SQL0952] Processing of the SQL statement ended. Reason code
10.
... 10 -- A cancel reply to an inquiry message was received.

The error message looking for a response it this:

Change of file IBINTGFL may cause data to be lost. (C I)

Thanks in advance.

Paul
