Sorry you took it as I was blowing (grief) to the vendor. I just thought it was something important people should know to not have the same situation I did.
The vendor could have given us a heads up that a known issue with the 7.4 upgrade is that you should check this Java Home setting. Actually the guy on support was unaware that the upgrade actually deletes JDK 7 from your system. He thought it could still use it but it wouldn't be supported.
