An ISO file is a CD image. Both of the options you list will work. CD burning software should recognize the format and prompt you to burn the image to disk. For image catalog, you can add it to an existing virtual optical drive with ADDIMGCLGE IMGCLG() FROMFILE(). Just put the ISO someone on your IFS and specify the full path on the FROMFILE() parm.

Subject: Install 5733-B45

Hello Everyone

I've asked our BP to get me 5733-B45 (AFP font collection) He sent me a 209 Mb file named F_2935_01_AFP_Font_Collection_for_i_Outline_Fonts_20101008_080435219.iso
which (I guess) is a CD/DVD image.

Now, How do I go about installing it,

burn it to CD and do a RSTLICPGM?

upload it to an Image catalog ? how? (I'm told that .iso files are a kind of zip file)

TIA
Gad
