Sorry, I think I misread your email. I thought you said you lost
functionality, but I see what you are getting at, the selection of the word
is interfering with some custom function you have, if I read that right.

The only way I have found to turn off the selection is to enable the "ENTER
at cursor position" hotspot, but that also causes a simulation of the enter
key being hit.

Also, are users don't only click on F keys but also other locations where I
use mouse events.

Hmm, when I check the Fnn one, and double click on F17=Subset, it brings up
the subset screen. When I uncheck it and double click on F17=Subset, it
draws the box around F17.

What version of ACS are you on? You said you deployed the latest version
and works differently than the old client. Was the old client a different
version of ACS or Client Access? My version is 1.1.8.1 build 8452.

I've tried to play with those settings, even turned them off. Clicking
still selects.

Are you looking for Edit - Preferences - Hotspots - then the
Function/Number section?

We just deployed the latest version of client access to our users.
Our users noticed a change from the old client where if you double
click an item on the "green screen", it will put a "select" box
around it and wont necessarily evoke the click event. Now, I
understand they probably did this for quick text selection, but its
really messing with our functionality. I looked under settings, but
don't see a way to turn that feature off. Does anyone know how to turn
it off?
