Newest client access client mouse click question

We just deployed the latest version of client access to our users. Our users
noticed a change from the old client where if you double click an item on
the "green screen", it will put a "select" box around it and wont
necessarily evoke the click event. Now, I understand they probably did this
for quick text selection, but its really messing with our functionality. I
looked under settings, but don't see a way to turn that feature off. Does
anyone know how to turn it off?
