My gut reaction to your initial post was checked. At first I wondered why go to PF and LF but instead why not bypass that and go straight to TABLE and INDEX or VIEW?
Then I just see that you want to change the default on MAXMBRS to *NOMAX...
BTW, "this is an IP shop" just leaves me wondering. I'm sure you don't mean Internet Protocol.
Not that I even know the compile command for PF38 but can't you change the defaults on that too?
