You must have a custom RUNSQL on your box. The OS version doesn't have a STMT parameter. The parm is SQL. What does WRKOBJ OBJ(*ALL/RUNSQL) show?

Subject: Length of stmt on RUNSQL

V7R3:

According to IBM Wiki Run SQL (RUNSQL) - new command

"In other SQL interfaces, an SQL statement is limited to 2MB in length. The limit on this command is 5000 bytes."

I tried to stick a RUNSQL into a CLLE, it is big but nowhere near 5000 bytes.

When I tried to run it I got:

2 > call dehdev/apartwo

6400 - RUNSQL STMT('Create Table qtemp.apar02 AS (select DRDL02 "Network

ID", pran8 "Vendor Number", ABALPH "name", prkcoo "Company Number",

prdoco "PO Number", prdcto "Order Type", prsfxo "Order Suffix", prlnid

"Line Number", prnlin "Nbr of Lines", prrtby "Written by Program",

pritm "Item Number", prlocn "Location", prvrmk "Supplier Remark",

date(digits(decimal(PRtrdj+1900000,7,0))) "Order Date",

date(digits(decimal(prrcdj+1900000,7,0))) "Receipt Date", prvinv

"Invoice Number", prlnty "Line Type",

Value 'Create Tab' for STMT exceeds 1045 characters.

This is the entire 'thing':
VAR(&CLAWZ) VALUE('select DRDL02 "Network +

"name", prkcoo "Company Number", prdoco +

''P4314'' and PRDGL between 119210 and +

prdoco ')

I cannot determine where I have gone wrong, but I have obviously.

Thanks in advance for any insights.
