Mark, the scheme you describe is pretty much the ultimate
application-level wrapper for all manner of scripting languages. I'm
pretty sure you could design it so that it works for all the PASE
stuff as well (or at worst, have a QSYS version for Rexx and
iSeriesPython, and a PASE version for all the PASE stuff).

I say "application-level" to distinguish it from "system-level"
(a.k.a. "leave it to IBM").

So, when are you going to post this über-wrapper to GitHub and solve
everyone's problems? ;)
