would be a good place to start.

It's pretty close to the CALL CL command, except it invokes a
procedure in a bound ILE program object (*MODULE or *SRVPGM).

Guess I am just confused about this command and not finding a good understanding of what it does, how it works, etc. Never have used myself. Nor ever had the command asked as an interview question.
