Rexx is a stunningly good language for ALL scripting needs on the QSYS
side of IBM i. It's like an über-CL. It has by far the easiest and
most seamless integration with CL commands of any language. I don't
think it's even possible in principle to improve on that aspect of it.

I love Rexx and I love the concept of Rexx.

But if I'm being honest, I can't say I use it very much. Like many
folks, my "working set" of languages is fairly small, and the
combination of my needs and cosmic chance conspired against Rexx
making it into my regular rotation. It's a first-rate language,
though. Definitely up there with Perl, Python, and Ruby.
