The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
We delete all spool files over 90 days with a custom program. No exceptions.
Wouldn't be hard to write a stored procedure over this same function you are asking about. And then go to delete those which meet a specific criteria.
After a mass purge like you've just experienced you may find it beneficial to run RCLSPLSTG. The Knowledge Center says there may be a performance impact if you drop it all the way down to 0 as it has to rebuild these blocks as you get more spool files but several people on this list run it at zero and have not experienced any such issue.
