Hello sages

I'm looking for a way to let IBM i users write files to Windows-server
directories
using QNTC + MKDIR
It is possible if users have the same ID and password on the i and in the
domain,
but this synchronization is a pain in the neck.

Is there a way to map IBMi local users to domain users without going
through SSO ?
If not, can you point me to a (hopefully) simple reference/instruction
manual of SSO ?

TIA
Gad
