It would, that's part of the multipath. When the device shows DMPxxx that
means it's a multipath device and it will show up at least twice depending
on where you look. (depending on how many paths there are could be up to
four)
If you just use WRKDSKSTS or STRSST, option 3, option 1: then you should
only see the "master copy" (for lack of a better way to put it) and
therefore only the LUNs that are attached to your system. They should
also be Model 050 showing that any DASD protection is happening on the SAN
not in IBM i.
It's the list and number of items on the list that was reported that gives
me pause.
Justin reports the BP is on the box now so we shall see what happens.
