ok, as Larry wrote - unless there's already 128 LUNs (see WRKDSKSTS) there is no need for additional cables to add some more capacity.

The server has two PCIe3 16Gb 2-port Fibre Channel cards.
The SAN is a Storwize V5000.

The fiber cables run directly from the server to the SAN.
