Sounds like the LUN sizes are a tick smaller than appropriate. YES IBM i likes LUNS, it does. But mostly less than 6 is very bad and 20 is plenty for the vaaaaast majority of partitions that have only one IBM i core.

With LUNs reporting 76354 MB I think someone may have misunderstood and thought that the LUNs must match physical disk sizes. They do not. And creating an excessive number of them well beyond beyond the number of physical disks in the SAN is also pointless. This is even more true when the Power System has only one partition.

Too late to fix this but using very small LUNs like this means you will eventually max out the fiber paths and will need to acquire additional fiber cards and the additional fiber cables mentioned way back at the start of this thread. An,d sadly, for no good reason.

Our BP hasn't done anything yet, so I went ahead and checked like you suggested. There are about 2.5 pages of entries shown in that SST option. They all show:
Type Model Capacity

The BP is working right now, so I'll save that for later. Thank you

Translation of the latter part:
Did you go into STRSST,
3. Work with disk units
2. Work with disk configuration
4. Add units to ASPs and balance data
3. Add units to existing ASPs
And see anything besides
<snip>
The function you requested cannot be performed at this time
because:
o The requested function requires one or more non-configured
units. No non-configured units were found on the system </snip>
