Hi Jack,

IBM can be very frustrating to deal with.

Would you try something and advise if you have any success.

As we have been changing the default user on the connections I tried
changing the default user on the session and this seems to be working.
Also I have not had any success at all with the line below being added to
the .properties file;

com.ibm.iaccess.ResetDefaultUserOnImport=true



If you have an existing shortcut to a .hod file then start that session
otherwise start a new session.

When prompted to log on click cancel to close the window.

Select from the top menu - Communications ==> Configure

Select Advanced under connection

What is the setting for Password prompting ?

Change this to "Use default user name and prompt once for each system"

Enter the default user id.

Click OK

Click File ==> Save

Close the session.

Restart the session - What is the default user ?

The default user setting is hidden in the System Configuration.

Edit>Connection>Password Prompting. Push the "Use default user
name
to
prompt once for each system" radio button. I would expect your
user
name
to
magically pop up in the Default user name field.
