Hi Jack,

My understanding of com.ibm.iaccess.autoimport.version=* is that only
applies when running the install NOT when starting a 5250 session from a
.hod file ?

And I have added the line com.ibm.iaccess.ResetDefaultUserOnImport=true to
the AcsConfig.properties.

I do have an open case with IBM for this and will share the results.

Finally they have understood the problem and it has been escalated to the
developers. (I am sure they do not read my emails/comments and just answer
what they think the problem is which is very frustrating, this case
consists of over twenty emails back and forth before the exact problem was
understood by the support person and being in a significantly different
time zone is taking a lot longer then one would expect.)

I would be astounded if there is no way to change the default user without
doing a new install!

Cheers

Don Brown

Don:

Is it possible that you've configured your installation to always
autoimport the acs_bak.zip?
Nice little tidbit right after the autoimport that may resolve your
issue,too.

From Section 9,4,1 of the Getting started Document:

A special value of * is allowed for com.ibm.iaccess.autoimport.version:
com.ibm.iaccess.autoimport.version=*
This will always import the configuration regardless of any previous
version.
Note:
To avoid importing the default user name specified on the Connection tab
of a System Configuration, place the following property in the
AcsConfig.properties file.
com.ibm.iaccess.ResetDefaultUserOnImport=true
