I understand running ACS from a
central location but with Java on the desktop. How would this work with no
Java on the desktop? How much of a workload would this be on the server
(CPU and Memory) for a 1000 users?

I think Larry was talking about having the JRE installed in a central
location and not on the workstation.

I think that's what it sounded like to everyone reading it, but...

The JRE would still run on the workstation ... it just wouldn't be stored
there.

The question is: How would this work? Surely *something* has to be
running locally. If not JVM, then at minimum some kind of
communication. So now we're either talking about a browser or some
other non-Java local client.
