A very easy way to do it is to create a copy of qinter, then define the
name of the workstations using ADDWSE  When you connect, the subsystem
that more closely matches the name will use the terminal.

Pay attention to the big Password if you use level 3 or 4.

The key here is "workstation entries".
DSPSBSD
QCTL has an entry for workstation type *ALL of *ENTRY.
QBASE and QINTER use *ALL with *SIGNON.
*ENTRY requires you to transfer into that subsystem with TFRJOB or some such thing.

Subject: Another odd question (this time from a customer): moving a terminal to a different subsystem

Is there an easy way to move a terminal (actually an emulation session, rather than a physical terminal) from one subsystem to another?

The reason being that we have a customer who wants to test a change in the sign-on screen.

It's been years since the last time I played around with a sign-on screen. And I'm surprised that the customer would be doing so without knowing how to test it on one terminal.
