RE: Database Tooling

The existence of journaling and commit control are two different things,
albeit commitment control requires journaling.

I do believe that squirrel needs commit control off to work, and like Jon, I
looked for it without luck. I did finally get a reference on the internet
somewhere that described a hack to the windows registry to make it work.
Ran like mad from that one.

I'll look at dBeaver next.

Yes, we journal all of our production libraries. I always assumed the error
was on tables without a unique key, but honestly I never bothered to check.

I use it in SQuirreL. It works most of the time, but on some tables I get
an error saying it can't find the unique row to update.
