How are people supposed to grasp open source when then can't even look at something like Alan Campin's IDATE?

Probably beating a dead horse but my iDate will return a null if the date is invalid.

Select IfNull(iDate(20190231,'*ISO'),20190228) from sysibm/sysdummy1
