We use LANSA and though a good product, there are just too many underlying archaic programs that inhibit LANSAs potential.

Modernization truly starts at the base code level.

It is the classic “lipstick on the pig” saying... every time.

I use LANSA products every day. They let you screen scrape your apps to show fast progress and then help you rewrite the most important apps incrementally. It’s proven with many customers.

I’ve personally trained green screen 5250 programmers to use lansa in days.
