Navigator has an ignominious reputation in terms of poor performance and
poor reliability. It has always required a lot of care and feeding in order
to get anything done with it. The pain has subsided a fair amount over a
protracted period of time, as CPU capacities increase, and as bugs are
fixed. Then you run into a setback as one fix causes another problem.

My comment was tongue-in-cheek. The performance of that tool is so bad
it's unusable. I'm not sure what the minimum resources required are for it
to run, but I'm pretty sure I've always been below them.

The old box would take about 10 minutes just to bring up the first page.
Then good luck getting it to do anything else. I've always had to resort
to the old System i Navigator. (Which currently isn't working for me for
some reason...)

Thanks
Bob
