I did some digging on my own, and found an answer that applies to Amazon
AWS "Elastic Beanstalk." (I'd evidently already solved the same problem
on Google over a year ago.)

It seems that swapping out a security policy on an Amazon load balancer
is so quick and easy, you can cange them more often than most people
change their socks.
