It's part of the rst command. https://community.helpsystems.com/knowledge-base/rjs/rjs-general/restoring-entire-as400-ifs-directory/ does a pretty good job of explaining it.

Subject: Restoring IFS objects to a different place in the file system

Suppose we have a single stream file we would like to restore from a backup tape. And suppose we want to put it someplace else in the file system, from whence it was originally saved.

Is there a way to do that?

It's certainly an easy enough thing to do with QSYS objects, but what about IFS?
