Re-issue the status message after the CPYF... with information such as "Copy completed normally..."

I've issued status messages followed by a DLYJOB 5 just so someone with quick eyes can see what's about to happen.

Why don't you want the "Copying..." message to show? Isn't that status, too?

Subject: Hide command status updates

Is there a way to hide the status updates of an IBM command that appear
on line 24 of the screen? I have a job that does a simple CPYF, but I
need it not to show the "Copying member or label xxxxxxxx..." message
because that stomps over my status messages that I put there using
SNDPGMMSG.

Do I need to temporarily change the job's message logging, or something
along that line?

Thoughts?

Thanks.
