Is there a way to hide the status updates of an IBM command that
appear on line 24 of the screen? I have a job that does a simple

xxxxxxxx..." message because that stomps over my status messages that
I put there using SNDPGMMSG.

Do I need to temporarily change the job's message logging, or
something along that line?

CHGJOB STSMSG(*NONE) to turn it off.

CHGJOB STSMSG(*NORMAL) to turn it back on.
