The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Send me the system plan from the HMC and the listing from SST and It'll take 10 minutes to complete it for you.
You learn quite a bit by messing around with the system planner, but you need to have the interest, and need, otherwise you'll just start over again with the next round of hardware.

Yeah, I realize I'm off into the weeds here doing things that might best be done by someone who could actually spell hardwear. :)
But remember, this came about because I just wanted a list of disk drives so that I could compare the disks on each partition. I saw weird results in DSPHDWRSC and the next reasonable step was to try and use the information from the HMC. Unfortunately, the raw output is not something I can get my hands around.
I have gotten some interesting results. The SPT says I've over-configured my processors and memory. And I assume that's a bad thing. So this isn't all in vain. But I do think that the SPT may require a little more expertise than I can provide. :)

Normally I get my system plans,

Send them off to them and let them deal with it. Some discussion,
such as a desire to host disk this time, helps.
